With its powerful battery and overwhelming response for power-packed handsets, Nokia is likely to launch an Android-based budget phone this month. At the MWC to be held in Barcelona (25 March), @evleaks has again leaked photos of this anticipated handset. This handset will be running on a 1GHz processor powered by a mere 512 MB RAM. Although this sounds pretty small, but the quality of the battery is above par compared with other competitors in this range.
Likely to be ranged in the below 10k range, this phone codenamed Nokia X or Nokia Normandy will prefer to compete with low-end budget smartees. A major change after its merger, the leaked photos reveal that tiles similar to Windows 8 will be used as its interface. Full specs (as leaked by @evleaks):
- 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 4inch WVGA display
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- microSD card slot
- 5MP camera
- 1500mAh battery
- dualSIM connectivity
- 6 Color variants
- Nokia Store + Third party apps
